Here, we delve into the Top 10 EV and hybrid cars to be launched in India in 2024, exploring their features, specifications, expected price, Unique selling points (USPs), and whether they deserve their spot in your garage.

Tesla Model 3 Specifications, Features, Expected Price & USP

Let’s start with our first car, an EV from Tesla and their most famous model, the Tesla Model 3. Expected Price in India:

Tesla Model 3 price in the US is $38,990 for the base model RWD, $40,630 for the standard range RWD and $54,630 for the performance model, and Long-Range AWD is $49,130. India currently levied a 70% to 100% import tax on electric vehicles. As per current import duty and taxes in India, the Tesla Model 3 cost varies between 80 Lac to 1.12 Crore. As per the reports Indian government is planning to reduce import duty on Electric vehicles from 70-100% import duty to 15% if EV companies meet certain terms and conditions, which makes the Tesla Model 3 price somewhere close to 60 Lacs INR.

Specifications:

Mahindra claims to provide a 300 Km to 400 km range for the eXUV300. It Accelerates from 0 to 100 Km/h in under 8 seconds. It maximizes energy efficiency and extends driving range with its innovative regenerative braking system.

Expected Price in India:

Mahindra is selling its eXUV300 from a 7.99 Lac base model to a 14.76 Lac top model (ex. Showroom) in India. With this price range, the Mahindra eXUV 300 is one of the best options for the Indian middle-class consumer.
